Point Guard Clinic — Coach Cindy Martin
The Point Guard Clinic was designed by Former NCAA Division I Head Coach & University of Florida PG Cindy Martin. Learn how to push the ball in transition, make critical game time decisions and take your ballhandling & passing to an elite level to dominate as a PG. This position clinic is open to all positions, as a scoring guard or post player you would benefit to see the game through the eyes of a PG.
Elite Scoring Clinic — Coach Cindy Martin
The Elite Scoring Clinic was designed by Former NCAA Division I Head Coach & University of Florida PG Cindy Martin, to simulate a college shooting practice. She will teach you the footwork & skills to become an elite scorer. Coach Martin will put you through drills to help you make better “game decisions” on how to score by reading screens, attacking off of an on-ball screen, spacing within an offense, knowing where to rotate/cut when you don’t have the ball, and how to score 1 vs. 1 without a screen from various locations on the court. This is clinic you’ve been waiting on to take your scoring to the next level.
June Saturday Workout/Open Gym — with Drew Slone and Brandon Glenn
Workout will be run by Elevate Trainer Drew Slone and Brandon Glenn and will consist of ballhandling, shooting and footwork. Open gym will be organized into 3 on 3, 4 on 4, and 5 on 5 games.
June Skills & Scrimmage “Mini Camp” with Cindy Martin
Improve your skills, shooting, footwork and 1 vs. 1 moves in the off-season. Coach Martin will lead the players through college style drills for an hour followed by an hour of 1 vs. 1, 3 vs. 3, and 5 vs. 5 controlled scrimmage time. With 2 hours of basketball each morning, you will improve your scoring, fundamentals, basketball IQ and court spacing/awareness in a competitive setting. Players will be divided by age/skill level. Pre-registration is required on-line at Elevate to get the discounted price of $90 for all 3 days. Walk-up players are allowed for $35 per day.
Performance Training — with Drew Slone and Brandon Glenn
Performance Training will consist of Strength Training, Quickness, Speed, Agility, Explosiveness, Power and Vertical Leap. The purpose of this class is to get your child comfortable with the movements of basketball and to establish some core strength. We will also be offering a basketball skills class right after for an hour and 15 minutes. By attending the performance class, the cost for the skills session will be reduced to $15 per session.
Girls Skills Training — Coach Cindy Martin
Take your basketball skills to an elite level with advanced skills & drills. Each class will include shooting, 1 vs. 1 moves, 2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3 live games, defensive breakdowns and elite drills. An emphasis will be put on preparing you for the tempo, focus and skills for your upcoming tryouts & season. An option of 5 or 4 days of class will be offered in March to accommodate for spring break week—you pick the day you will miss class or sign up for all 5 days! Little Ballers 3rd-4th Grade — Coach Cindy Martin
Intermediate to advanced players will be taught basketball fundamentals on both offense and defense on a 10 Foot Hoop. Each class will include ballhandling, layups, shooting, passing, footwork, help side defense and rebounding. This is a co-ed class.
Little Dribblers K-2nd Grade—Coach Cindy Martin
Beginning to intermediate players will be taught basketball fundamentals on both offense and defense on a 8’5” Hoop. This is a co-ed class.
Breakfast Club — with Drew Slone
Wednesday mornings from 6am-7am. This class will be focused on repetition of game shots as well as ball handing. Breakfast Club will continue through the summer.
Memorial Day Basketball Camp with Drew Slone and Brandon Glenn
Camp will emphasize the development of proper technique in the areas of shooting, passing, dribbling, and footwork. Camp will also include 1 on 1, 3 on 3, 4 on 4, and 5 on 5 as well as a number of contest and prizes. Join us at Elevate Basketball Academy on Memorial Day for a lot of fun and basketball development.
Jay Burson Basketball Camp
Emphasis on Individual Skill Development, Team Play and FUN. Skill Development -Ball Handling, Shooting, Pivoting, Boxing out, Defense, Passing, Getting Open, Moving Without the Ball. Team Play – Moving and Cutting, Spreading Floor, Reading Defense. Round Robin Tournament on Final Day. Contact Doug at Elevate with questions.
Elite Tryout Prep Camp — Coach Cindy Martin
Get ready for your school basketball season! Coach Martin & staff will lead the players through college style drills. With 1.5 hours of basketball each morning for a total of 6 court hours, you will improve your scoring, fundamentals, basketball IQ and court spacing/awareness in a competitive setting. Registration will close with the first 30 players to register online. Players grade level is for the 2016-17 school year.
