2016 Fall League
Continue to develop as a player this fall while gaining real game experience. Elevate trainers will coach each team with a focus on fundamentals, team play, and developing a passion for the game. The goal is to give each player equal playing time in a competitive environment. No team practices—just games. Individual registrations only (no team/group registrations). Train 4 Tryouts — Coach Cindy Martin
Take your basketball skills to an elite level with advanced skills & drills in a “team like” setting. Each class will include ballhandling, layups, shooting, passing, help side defense and rebounding. An emphasis will be put on preparing you for the tempo, focus and skills for your team tryouts and upcoming season. Please email Coach Martin with questions. Players grade level is for the 2016-17 school year. Pre-registration is required on-line to hold your players spot, all T4T classes sold out last fall so register early!
Sunday Skills & Scrimmage Sessions — Coach Cindy Martin
Get ready for your upcoming basketball season with drills & live scrimmage time! Coach Martin and staff will lead the players through college style drills for 45 minutes followed by 45 minutes of controlled scrimmage time. We will do 3 vs. 3 and 4 vs. 4 to make sure each player gets lots of touches and opportunities to work on scoring. With 1.5 hours of basketball each day, players will improve your scoring, footwork, ballhandling, 1 vs. 1 moves, basketball IQ and court spacing/awareness in a competitive setting. Players will be divided by age/skill level. Registration will close with the first 30 players to register online.
Monday Skills Training — Coach Cindy Martin
Improve your scoring, ballhandling, footwork, court spacing, 1 vs. 1 moves, getting open without a screen, reading your defense on a screen—All the individual concepts you need to master to score in a half court set (that means within your team offense and not just a break-away layup). We will take each drill in two parts: 1) Learning a skill/move 2) Add live defense to make sure you can do that skill/move in a live game. It’s a simple concept but most players need to work on this more! Pre-registration is required on-line to hold your players spot.
Enhanced Dribbling Clinic — with Drew Slone
Join Elevate Trainer Drew Slone for an hour of ball handling and One on One moves off the dribble. Emphasis will be on developing fast and strong hands both right and left, change of speed and direction, and 1 on 1 moves to beat you defender.
Point Guard Clinic — Coach Cindy Martin
The Point Guard Clinic was designed by Former NCAA Division I Head Coach & University of Florida PG Cindy Martin. Learn how to push the ball in transition, make critical game time decisions and take your ballhandling & passing to an elite level to dominate as a PG. This position clinic is open to all positions, as a scoring guard or post player you would benefit to see the game through the eyes of a PG. Pre-registration is required on-line to hold your players spot.
Shooting Skills Academy — with Drew Slone
Join Elevate Trainer Drew Slone to learn specific technique and concepts to help make you a more consistent shooter off the catch, off the dribble and on the move.
Elite Scoring Clinic — Coach Cindy Martin
The Elite Scoring Clinic was designed by Former NCAA Division I Head Coach & University of Florida PG Cindy Martin, to simulate a college shooting practice. She will teach you the footwork & skills to become an elite scorer. Coach Martin will put you through drills to help you make better “game decisions” on how to score by reading screens, attacking off of an on-ball screen, spacing within an offense, knowing where to rotate/cut when you don’t have the ball, and how to score 1 vs. 1 without a screen from various locations on the court. This is clinic you’ve been waiting on to take your scoring to the next level. Pre-registration is required on-line to hold your players spot.
Shooting Lab — Coach Cindy Martin
The Shooting Lab was designed by Former NCAA Division I & Division II Head Coach Cindy Martin, to teach proper shooting form, footwork and how to be “ready” to shoot in a group setting. Everyone wants to be a better scorer—Coach Martin will focus on form/shooting technique, shooting off the pass, reading screens & footwork and scoring off the dribble. Participants will be placed in locations that duplicate game situations and focus on the technique, form, range and consistency of the players shot. Pre-registration is required on-line to hold your players spot.
Little Ballers 3rd-4th Grade — Coach Cindy Martin
Intermediate to advanced players will be taught basketball fundamentals on both offense and defense on a 10 Foot Hoop. Each class will include ballhandling, layups, shooting, passing, footwork, help side defense and rebounding. This is a co-ed class. Pre-registration is required on-line to hold your players spot.
Girls High School Training — Coach Cindy Martin
Take your basketball skills to an elite level with advanced skills & drills. Each class will include shooting, 1 vs. 1 moves, 2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3 live games, defensive breakdowns and elite drills. An emphasis will be put on preparing you for the tempo, focus and skills for your upcoming tryouts & season. Walk-up players welcome if space is available. Please email Coach Martin to check on space for all girls high school programs.
Girls High School Fall Ball — Coach Cindy Martin
30 Minutes of Shooting & 1 vs. 1 Drills, 30 Minutes of Transition/Team Drills and 30 Minutes or Scrimmage Time. Get ready for your school basketball season and see if you have what it takes to play at the next level! Coach Martin & staff will lead the players through college style drills. With 1.5 hours of intense basketball each night for a total of 6 court hours, you will improve your scoring, 1 vs. 1 moves, Basketball IQ and court spacing/awareness in a competitive setting. NO REFS / SCOREBOOK so NO LIMIT of players from the same school.
Breakfast Club — with Drew Slone
Wednesday mornings from 6am-7am. This class will be focused on repetition of game shots as well as ball handing. Breakfast Club will continue through the summer.
